Kris Jones

President

In 2013, after over 20 years of success in the automotive industry, Kris saw a need in the market for a company that would do what the others just didn’t. Provide great, quality products at a fair price, while prioritizing the customer experience. Truck Equipment Resource was conceptualized with this at the core.

Almost a decade later, integrity, honesty, and customer service is at the root of the decisions Kris has made to lead the company to the success it is experiencing. Having led the company successfully through the recession, he will continue to lead it to even greater success in the future.

Kris loves to spend time with his wife, daughter and son-in-law as well as hunt, fish, boat, mountain bike and travel.

Jeremy has been part of Truck Equipment Resource since its founding, beginning his journey in sales where he applied his background in the tech industry to expand the company’s reach and customer relationships. With over 15 years of experience spanning sales, customer service, and business operations, Jeremy has played a pivotal role in guiding TER’s growth and innovation.

Today, as Director of Business Strategy & Technology, Jeremy leads the development and execution of company strategy, oversees technology and systems that drive efficiency, and ensures alignment across departments. He works closely with leadership to streamline operations, train and equip sales teams, and manage critical initiatives that shape TER’s future. A key part of his role is leveraging and adopting artificial intelligence to rethink and reshape how the truck equipment industry operates – driving smarter processes, reimagining customer experiences, and setting new standards for how work gets done.

Outside of work, Jeremy is a devoted husband and father of three. He enjoys playing guitar, golfing, and serving his church community, where his passion for leadership and service extends beyond the business world.”

Robert Chavez

After working half a decade in the oil & gas industry, Robert came to work at Truck Equipment Resource as a commercial account manager. His experience and hard work led him to gain one of the largest fleet accounts in our industry among many other clients. He is adamant about communication with his customers, big and small. It continues to drive his success today and into the future. Robert has completed multiple industry training programs, received several certifications, and continues to focus on further education.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and is a bit of a fitness junkie. In all areas of his life, you will see that Robert is dedicated and goes the extra mile.
